![]() ISmac (more commonly known as Smac) started her derby journey in 2010 with the Big Easy Rollergirls. Marketing Officer iSmac (Springfield Roller Derby) Professionally, Huevo is an anthropologist and is currently finishing her Ph.D. Huevo has previously worked with the Membership Pillar and helped to develop the Membership Outreach program and lead outreach efforts to potential member leagues in Argentina. She serves as a resource for the membership and oversees implementation of the WFTDA’s membership initiatives, including the new member application process and cultivating relationships with leagues inside and outside of the WFTDA. The Membership Officer is Huevo of Sailor City Rollers, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Membership Officer Huevo (Sailor City Rollers) She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, reading, and coffee (lots of coffee). Outside of work and derby, she serves as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Friends of the Athens Clarke County Library. Nell has worked as an office manager for a civil rights and employment law firm for 17 years. In 2017, she was appointed as the Games Officer. ![]() She resigned from both those positions in 2015 when she became Sanctioning Committee Chair. She also became a Sanctioning Processor in 2014. Nell’s first volunteer position with the WFTDA was in 2013 when she became a Grievance Pivot. She retired from the Classic City Rollergirls in 2019 but continues to volunteer as an NSO on occasion. While a member of the Classic City Rollergirls, Nell served as a board member and treasurer for eight years, was a member of the rules and training committee for 11 years, and a WFTDA rep for seven years. She played until 2012 and then became a skating official and an NSO. Nell entered the world of roller derby in 2006 and is one of the original members of the Classic City Rollergirls in Athens, GA. Each pillar is overseen by an Officer, appointed by the Board of Directors. WFTDA Member League Representatives work in committees that are organized into the six Pillars of the organization: Games, Membership, Marketing, Regulatory, Technology, and Officiating.
